33rd single "Autumn List" + SERA00 5th General Election

Hey everyone!

Yes, the fact that my last post was about SERA00's 32nd single, and that this one is about SERA00's 33rd single, is something that I should apologize for.

My apologies.

My excuses: school, extended essay, and a new blog I'm working on.

Alright! With that out of the way, we can get on to the fun stuff. You won't need me to tell you that the 32nd single "Fantasy" was in fact released on September 14, featuring Kotoka in her first ever centre position, and Yumichan and Yura as lower centre. Our upcoming 33rd single, titled "Autumn List" will be released on the eve of Halloween, October 30, 2015. This is the election single for SERA00's 5th General Election. Yes, it is that time of the year again! Voting will open when the MV is dropped the same day at 12 PM EST, and will close one week later on Friday, November 6 at 11:59 PM EST. The concert and results ceremony will be held the next day, Saturday, November 7. The theme of this song is the "things I want to do" this fall. As always, the main cast is composed of the A rank members (which means that I get to be in it :D) and again as always for an election single, there is only one centre - the winner of the previous year's election, Mihashi Sakiko. That info already tells you the entire cast, but I'll lay it out for you anyways:

Upcoming 32nd single: FANTASY

Hey everyone!

Our recent releases have had mystical themes: Land of Dreams, Wanderlust, and Ethereal Day - even the musical, Dreamweavers. Likewise, the title and concept of SERA00's 32nd single is as magical as its predecessors. The release date of the single, "Fantasy," is yet to be determined. However, a teaser image has been released featuring Yura (although you can't really tell it's her...can you?)

The main cast has been announced, but no centre has been chosen yet. This won't be the election single; that'll probably be the next one. I'll update with the full list of participating members once all the details are set :)

My last "Dreamweavers" performance + 2015 Summer Concert!

Hey everyone!

Tonight's 7PM performance of the Dreamweavers musical will be the last in my run as SophieAnn, and then I'll pass the baton on to Sammi, then Sayoung, and the CASU-J girls, Sachi and Yuka. I've been privileged with the chance to act with Sassan as the main character Angelissa, as well as to perform for all of you this past week. It's been an amazing opportunity! So, for those of you who would like to come out and see the current cast perform for you one more time, we promise to give you a show worth seeing ^_^

I'm gonna go grab something to eat now, before going to makeup and costume. (Yessssss I'm working on those posts from Hong Kong!) I'll see you all on stage tonight!

Oh, and don't forget that our 2015 SERA00 Summer Concert, "To The Sky" will be held on September 4-6 as not to interfere with the run of the musical. Tickets will be sold until the night before the concert so be sure to get one if you'd like to come. Everyone is invited :)

Updates: sorry for being MIA!

Hey everyone!

First off, I'd like to apologize for being MIA. I was in Hong Kong the entire July, so I have lots of photos to show you all! I don't know when I can post them but hopefully soon, as I'm tied up with volunteer work at the moment. I'm trying to squeeze in as many hours as possible before my schedule tightens up with my run in the Dreamweavers musical and the upcoming SERA00 summer concert. SERA00 Complex: the exhibition

Hey everyone!

Here's the official information for the SERA00 Complex exhibition. We're migrating to the City on July 2 and 3 (please don't come by, you'll just see a lot of trucks and the movers are trying to get the job done). The exhibition starts on Saturday, July 4 and runs for approximately two weeks with Sunday, July 19 being the last day. There will be various shows and presentations going on throughout the day, and the cafeteria is open for dining. There is a special SERA00 Stage every night at eight (the normal time) but it takes place outside to accomodate more people, and there is a separate ticket. Hours are from 8 AM to 11 PM. Take a look at the schedule and plan your visit accordingly! Here is the ticketing information:

General Admission (full day): $35

Afternoon Admission (1PM-closing): $30

Evening Admission (6PM-closing): $25

Concert Admission: $28

Welcome to the SERA00 City!

Hey everyone!

For the past eight years, we've enjoyed performing and interacting with our fans through our nightly SERA00 Stages in the theatre. We've put on well over 2000 shows and together, we've created many memories on that stage. It is the place we were introduced to the world of music, the place where we sang and danced our hearts out, the place where we've grown and learned, and also a place where we've said our goodbyes.

Which is why the announcement I have today comes as a bittersweet one for many members.

If you've watched the MV for our latest release, Ethereal Day, you would have noticed us walking around and dancing in a charming little town. If you assume it was just a set, you'd be mistaken. It was, in fact, filmed in the SERA00 City. 

Welcome to the SERA00 City...the place that will house the next chapter of SERA00's dreams.

The Complex will be undergoing renovation soon, and when completed will no longer be the SERA00 Complex but rather the CASUT00 Complex. CASUT00 is nowhere as big a group as SERA00, and they don't hold nightly stages, so you're probably wondering how they're going to use all that space. There'll be the normal amenities - living quarters, dance and recording studios, etc. The rest of the space will be transformed into an office for YS Canada. Before, the headquarters were located about an hour's drive from the Complex. This will make administration and communication more efficient.

As for SERA00, we will be migrating to the SERA00 City, which will essentially serve as our new Complex. Remember the old indoor amusement park that shut down about a year ago (around 10 minutes northeast of the Complex)? Well it was bought by YS Entertainment, and construction was completed around a month ago, right before the MV filming. That was the first time any of the girls have entered the City.

Since it was built inside what used to be an indoor amusement park, it really does have the charm of a little town, complete with streets and buildings. Residential complexes (our dorms) are scattered along edges of the City, with most of the training facilities located in the middle - the city square, featuring a fountain. The city lights up really prettily at night as well. Everything is like a little store. We could be practicing in the dance studio and be like "oh let's get food across the street". The cafeteria is shaped like an actual restaurant. There's the costume shop, which is really just the design studio where our costume designers create our outfits, and a gym. There are more, but I'm just listing a couple off the top of my mind.

Unfortunately, the cute little city is only available for fan viewing through photos and videos, but let's not forget the one part that you can visit - the SERA00 Theatre! It's a complete copycat of the original theatre. It was even made the same size (even though it could have been a lot bigger) to preserve the intimate feeling. Out front, in addition to the theatre there's also a merchandise shop, a café featuring some of the members' creations on the menu, and a grand hall. We often use the grand hall at the Complex for entire group meetings, concert rehearsals, etc, but the new grand hall is more than twice as large, so we will be able to hold handshake events, fan meetings and the like. Of course, we will continue to hold bigger events in stadiums and other centres, and the City doesn't have a concert hall either :P (what do you expect?)

Before the Complex renovations can begin, SERA00 needs to move out, which is why the City was completed first. We will be making the move in July, and there'll be a two week period between us moving out and construction beginning in which the Complex will be on exhibition. Fans are invited to explore the complex. It is the first and last chance to see the place SERA00 has been living and training in since 2007! I will post times and ticket info later. SERA00 Stages will start taking place at the City instead of the current location the day following the last day of the exhibition.

We'll release lots of photos and videos, so we hope you look forwards to both the SERA00 City and the CASUT00 Complex! (alliteration? XD)

Dreamweavers: the musical

Hey everyone!
Exciting news! YS Entertainment is putting on its first musical ever! The casting is a mix of YS artists and unaffiliated musical actors and actresses, so you can expect a great show! The musical "Dreamweavers" runs exclusively throughout August with one performance every night at 7 PM.

The main cast consists of four characters:
Angelissa
Fletcher
Jayme
SophieAnn

Angelissa is the main character, who suffers from Mild Intellectual Disability (MID), although it is set in a fictious time period not quite in the past, but similar to the pre-technology era. The plot line evolves around Angelissa's life in her band of travelling people, and the relationships she builds with the people around her, including her friends Jayme and SophieAnn.
In her world there is a legend - a legend of a mystical band of people who can weave suggestions and plant them in people's dreams, making them believe everything they dream. They are called the Dreamweavers. With the ability to weave powerful, potent dreams, one young Dreamweaver named Fletcher feels as if the world is in his hands. With dreams, he can weave anything, from a cure for a sickness, to creating love sickness.
When Angelissa crosses paths with the Dreamweavers, the musical is just beginning.

The characters Angelissa and SophieAnn will be played by members of SERA00 and YS artists, while all other characters featured in the musical will be played by various musical actors and actresses, as well as YS artists. If you want to see a particular cast, I have included the schedule for YS artists below (I don't know about casting outside of YS):

CASUT00 2nd EP "Star Sign"

As you know, the two day concert SERA00 ON AIR: Scents of Spring was successfully completed yesterday. Many of you are still waiting for the broadcast to air next week. We've already released the performance of "Ethereal Day" online for you guys to enjoy, and remember the single is released on the 5th (this Friday)!

Maybe you've already heard from fans who attended the concert, but yes - CASUT00 made a surprise performance of the title track of their new EP, "Star Sign"! This act was not announced before, so it was a pleasant surprise for fans. The album will drop the following Friday following SERA00's new single, which is the 12th of June. Here is the tracklist:

CASUT00's first EP "Chocolate" was a smattering of styles meant to introduce CASUT00 and show off the girl's abilities. The second album focuses more on developing their identity as a group. They took a more coherent approach to choosing the tracks and making sure they all fit with the themes they want to convey. The concept this time is fresh, new, and hopeful, as if finding your first love. Here is the breakdown of each song:

The title track is Star Sign. It is a medium tempo track bordering on ballad-y, with a toned down dance to match the melody. All members.

Every Day and With You are both ballads featuring all the members' vocals in harmony.

Love Tomorrow features Arron, Rachel, Nikki, and Ava, also a slow, beautiful song.

Channel brings up the hype a bit, the most upbeat track of the album, featuring our dancers JY, Isabelle, Holiday, and Madison.

And to round off the album is another medium tempo track, Bright Steps, with all members.

Overall, this album slowed it down a lot from the first, but it's a nice change and I hope you'll all enjoy what CASUT00 has to offer! I guess when Miss Avery gets into a slow mood, it's not only SERA00 getting the ballads!

Are you excited for SERA00 ON AIR: Scents of Spring? I'm pumped up for this weekend! Last minute preparations for the concert, including the dress rehearsal and sound/formation check will be happening tomorrow so unfortunately the scheduled team for tomorrow's SERA00 Stage will not be performing. Instead, it will be the debut stage of the 8th generation! They will be performing the newly created 00 rank 6th stage! They're the first to get the 6th stage, all the teams are still performing the 5th stage. Performances will feature only the 8th generation as the remaining 7th gen 00 ranks are also attending the dress rehearsal. The official 6th stage ends with our 31st single "Ethereal Day" and doesn't include Ice Cream, which is from Team Aurora's 3rd stage, or Piano Keys, a song from Team Angel's 4th stage. It's just that they can't perform Ethereal Day tomorrow because it hasn't been released yet but there shouldn't be any problems after that. As the centre of 00 ranks, Sayoung centres most singles. She also sings the solo song "It's Cute". Other 00 ranks who made centre in this stage include Henley for Wanderlust, Katalie for Bubblegum and Jenna for You. The cast members for each song are usually swapped each performance anyways so in the future you'll get to see a variety of combinations of members performing each song.

31st single at SERA00 ON AIR + new unders

Hey everyone!

Our new single, "Ethereal Day" will be SERA00's 31st, and the first performance of it will be at the SERA00 ON AIR: Scents of Spring concert. The concert will take place over two days, May 30-31st. The single will be officially released the following Friday, June 5th.

Ethereal Day is a sweet ballad (I guess that's the current trend with our most recent singles. Land of Dreams and Wanderlust were both slow compared to the dance track On and On). Accordingly, we have Luraland snagging her first centre position in a single since debut! Congratulations~ As well, we have our first SERA00-CASUT00 crossover with CASU's ace and main vocalist Arron taking the lower centre with Sassan. In the case of Arron not performing with SERA00, I'll be filling in for her. Aaand if I'm filling in for Arron then 8th gen Sayoung is filling in for me! That's why her name is in brackets on the discography listing, because she isn't a permanent cast member.

Speaking of filling in for others, our under system was recently scrambled again ("under" is the term for the girl who fills in for you if you're absent). I used to be under for Maya, who was under for Sassan, and my under was Yumichan. Since then, all of us have grown considerably in terms of rank, experience, popularity, etc, and not just us but other members as well, so the unders were redrawn (btw there are only 8 systems with the media members at the top tier). I'm now directly under for Sassan, Yumichan unders for Angel, Maya is at the top tier.

SERA00 ON AIR and upcoming concerts!

Hey everyone!

I just added a new section to our "Songs" tab listing our concerts. It may be surprising to some of you but we actually haven't held many major concerts. It's mostly just our annual summer and winter concerts...and those are only sometimes as well XD We didn't have a summer concert last year (management was probably busy with debuting CASUT00) but we're having one this year! It'll be a three-day concert titled "To The Sky". 

If you take a look at the concert list, you'll notice that we have another concert planned before that called SERA00 ON AIR: Scents of Spring! The tentative date is in June, and since our summer concert is usually in July, this concert may or may not push the summer concert back to August. Okay, so what is SERA00 ON AIR? Like it's title suggests, if you miss the live event, you can catch it on TV! The full concert will be broadcast on air, so you won't have to buy the concert DVD just to watch it (although concert DVDs will be available as well:p).

The first of the ON AIR concert series is titled "Scents of Spring", but the competition won't be as pretty as the title sounds! Wait, competition? Yep. This won't be like our summer/spring concerts which are a collection of our best performances...the lineup for this concert will be decided on scene by the fans. How does this work?

Download the SERA00 ON AIR app which will feature real-time voting for fans in the audience (the concert's not broadcasted live so unfortunately fans at home can't vote). There will be a series of "battles" in round. Each battle pitches two stages against each other, and the winners will be matched up in another battle in the next round. The winning stage is decided by 50% fan vote, 30% management vote and 20% member vote!

However, since we can't anticipate who will move on to the next round and who will get eliminated, the entire concert will be very spontaneous! The girls are free to choose their own performances, including who they want to perform with, and we sign ourselves up for each round. So if you planned a duet with a girl who is eliminated before your performance...better decide on another stage quickly! This intense competition concert will feature all of SERA00, CASUT00, as well as all 00 ranks including the new 8th generation!

ACE of the 8th generation

So this is a continuation of the last post, an answer to the question:
Isn't the ace of the generation usually determined with the release of the names, and why haven't they debuted on stage yet?

Yes, the ace is usually determined with the release of the names. However, this year, management couldn't decide on an ace, but saw no reason to keep the fans or the auditionees waiting for the results when they already had the official list. This is why the 8th generation names were released without an ace specified. As for why they haven't debuted on stage yet, is simply because they have to work their formations based on the ace, and if they don't know who it is...yeah.

So. Who is the ace? [drumroll] Sayoung.

Why did it take longer than usual to decide on the ace? Here is their explanation. The ace, as I've explained before, is chosen based on star potential, and becomes the centre of the 00 ranks. Just assessing all the girls on the surface without knowledge of their backgrounds, Sayoung is no doubt the best. But this is because she has been training with YS Entertainment for a couple years, compared to the rest of her generation, who are basically fresh off the street. The training is much more vigorous than anything you'll find in SERA00, and she has been through it for a much longer time as well, so I don't think it's a stretch to compare her with the veterans of SERA00.

That being said, management wondered if it was fair to the other girls for Sayoung to be named ace, as she has a considerable advantage. I imagine the second choice would be Henley or Jenna. In the end, management went with Sayoung because they concluded that while she has an advantage, it wasn't just given to her - it was an advantage she put many hours of hard work and effort in to gain, and therefore there's no reason to discount it.

YS Trainee??

Hey everyone!

I've gotten some questions after the post listing the 8th generation girls, mainly two:
What's a YS trainee?
Isn't the ace of the generation usually determined with the release of the names, and why haven't they debuted on stage yet?

I will address both of them, focusing mainly on the first one as I'll explain the second in a separate post. What's a YS trainee? First, of all, the name of our company is YS Entertainment. We're not just a large group of girls who randomly met with the same goal of becoming an idol and decided to create our own group called SERA00, and then create a complex system of stages, teams, auditions, elections, etc. All of this was envisioned and then brought to life by YS Entertainment. The company has a couple branches, with the first one established in Taiwan. YS Taiwan houses artists such as Huang Yu Yan, Tem:po, DRE4M, and ECTI. Then we have YS Canada, better known as the beginning of the Infinity Project, under which SERA00 and CASUT00 were born. CASUT00's sisters in CASU-J are managed under YS Japan, which also manages Dolce.

You might have remembered, around October last year I told you guys that YS was creating a new group in Korea? If you're wondering why you haven't heard of them it's because they don't exactly exist yet - YS Entertainment decided to hold off the establishment of YS Korea to focus on other stuff. As of now, there have been talks but nothing has been established.

Okay, so it's pretty obvious how to audition for SERA00 - as a rotational group, we hold auditions every year. However, the other idol groups are not rotational, so if you end up being in one of those, you'd be debuting not in an existing, but new group. How? You can audition directly for the company through any of the auditions held by all the branches. If you pass these auditions you become a general YS trainee, which means that if you debut, you won't necessarily debut under the branch you auditioned for.

Which is exactly Sayoung's case. She's from Korea, but auditioned for YS Taiwan, got accepted and trained as a YS trainee and is set to debut in SERA00 under YS Canada.

As there were last year, there are sixteen final recruits who are promoted to the 00 ranks. Of the 7th generation, two graduated (Calla, Silver) before promotion to official member. Eight of the remaining were promoted to various teams, and these sixteen girls will be joining the six 7th gen 00 ranks. Shall I introduce some of the girls? I'd like to mention that as I write about these girls, I'm trying to give you all a sense of the general hype within SERA00 and management. We won't know for sure what each girl is like until they publicly debut.

Let's start with the ace of the 8th generation...idk. She hasn't been decided yet XD I'll tell you when the news comes out. I guess we'll just go from the top. I'm not going to talk about all the girls, just the ones who made an impression on me. If you're reading this, 8th gen, don't be offended, I'm sure you'll all be superstars in your own time :D

Juhyun normally goes by Judy, and is a Judy to her friends, but she would like to adopt her Korean name as her stage name. Sayoung is a YS trainee (our company: YS Entertainment) from Korea, and is the first international member to join SERA00. Her future with SERA00 may be uncertain but one certain thing is that Sayoung has one of the sweetest voices not just in her generation but probably in SERA00 as well. Her colour is clear and distinguishable amongst the other girls but if I were to compare her to one member, her voice is most similar to Luraland's. I wonder if a duet between the two would sound nice? Henley...I don't know how to describe her. I keep on comparing her to Harley and I swear it's not because of the name. Anyways she has that specific yet unidentifiable aura about her that Miss Avery really likes. I could see her becoming the ace of her generation. Yep, I realize that description didn't really describe anything. Let's talk about Jenna, whose confident and stylish demeanour means that if someone told me she was a celebrity, I might just believe it. I'm not sure if her vocals are on par to compete with other solo artists, but I guess that's why she's in SERA00! Teamwork is our key to success! Any one else? Xue Ling also has that glamorous image about her, but a quiet glamour, if that makes sense? Fresh and natural but has the right aura... Somewhere between Suzy Bae and Gui Gui. Also. Romy and Rome are DIFFERENT people. Get it straight, everyone!

Who stood out in terms of skill? For vocals, I would choose Sayoung and Henley. For dance, I would choose Ice and Katalie. For visuals, I would choose Sayoung, Yuzuki, and Jenna. This by no means indicates the others are untalented; these are the girls that simply stand out. Think of it like this - does Eunji's amazing voice make Bomi, Namjoo, etc. any less of a great singer, or the other way around? Of course not, it simply means that if I were to pick Apink's "main vocal" it would be Eunji. (sorry non k-pop fans XD)

Also, some early news for those who are still reading ;) It's about time for a new song, isn't it? Look forwards to our 31st single!

Made it using this recipe. I divided all the ingredients by 3, and used 2 slices of Chinese bread. Other: Craisins instead of raisins, didn't add nutmeg (mainly because I didn't have any...) It tasted pretty good!

Please do not request a time accommodation because you wanted to go to the movies :P No, seriously. To request a different audition time slot, login to your account and click the "request change" button next to your time. Remember to come prepared with everything you got, and just have fun! Passion, dreams, and life....

MARCH POST CHALLENGE #9

I may never have mentioned this particular hobby of mine before, but I really enjoy film-making. From the process of dreaming up an idea, to storyboarding it, getting the crew together and catching all those perfect angles on the camera, and then finally piecing it together with some post-production magic. And in a way, I do think it's real magic - the way we can translate reality into another medium, and combine all the senses for an immersive experience is really magical to me. To be creating this magic is a dream come true for me. Check out some of my work in the blog sidebar => there's an embedded YouTube video of a dance cover of Apink's "Mr. Chu". It was an on the spot thing, so with all things considered, it's not too bad XD

But then that's the thing with some dreams, isn't it? Nothing is impossible...but is everything really possible? Our world is structured in such a way that there's a process to get anywhere. Not a journey of learning and experiences, but rather a set structure - take schooling for example. What perception do you have of someone who says they're a high school drop-out, versus a university graduate? Education is crucial to one's growth - but I believe that education and schooling are two very different things. Education is broad and encompassing, but schooling is limited and strict on the way they educate students. Isn't that kind of ironic? It's like harnessing something naturally free and wild, and reteaching it how to behave, how it's supposed to behave - or rather - how we expect it to behave.

Maybe I just think this way because I'm not doing so well in school myself. Maybe it's just an excuse. Or maybe it's a view that has opened up to me over the recent time periods. Something that causes you to view the world differently - passion. I've discovered different things over the past couple of years. I've discovered that Asian culture fascinates me. I've discovered music from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and more recently, Korea. I've discovered the different stories they tell through their language, whether it be by lyric or film. I've discovered the stories I want to tell, and the ways I want to tell them.

I've discovered something I feel passionate about...yet it's still out of reach.

Because of the process. But don't blame the process, they might tell you. Blame yourself. Why can't you complete the process successfully when millions of others have? Just follow the process.

But sometimes, it just doesn't happen like that. What's my process? School and SERA00? University, get a job? I don't see film making, or penning songs, or creating worlds with words anywhere in that process. Because my process rejects these ideas no matter how much I want them - they just don't fit into that process. Everyone's passion is unique, and when it comes to something that just doesn't fit into your process no matter how hard you work, or how hard you try, you have to break that process to get what you want.

Only sometimes, we're too scared to break that process.

And often times, we don't know how to.

Another song I've been obsessed with lately is Red Velvet's "Ice Cream Cake". Although a little eerie at the beginning, and detached styles between verses and choruses, the hook is too catchy to resist.

THE NEXT GEN: Auditions

MARCH POST CHALLENGE #7

These post challenges are harder than I thought they'd be...

Anyways, spring is approaching fast, although the weather doesn't want to agree! And you know what that means - auditions for SERA00's 8th generation!

Management has been changing up the audition process quite often. I guess it gives me something to write about every year, at least. So today I'll be describing the 2015 audition process. As I've mentioned before, only auditions for SERA00 are open. Any future CASUT00 trainees will be picked internally from the company, but they're not planning any line-up changes for the time being.

This year, we are adopting a more talent based approach. Your journey first starts with an application, like always. These are automatically approved, unless you are ineligible to audition/join. You'll be given a time to come in and audition. These auditions will take place over the weekend of April 4-5. That's two weeks from now. Applications opened last weekend and will end the Friday night before the auditions (April 3 at 11:59 PM EST).

There are two categories for the auditions, singers and dancers, and you are free to choose either.

Singers: prepare first verse and chorus of a song, sung to a karaoke machine. Check our website for a complete list of songs.

Dancers: prepare a short ~30 second dance. Bring your own music or freestyle to a provided track.

Those who pass the first round will move on to the next round of auditions, which will be looking for both vocal and dance abilities, as well as potential and other attributes.

Around 50 girls will be chosen for the final group audition, from which the 8th generation will be selected. The number of girls who will be chosen is still undecided. In the past we've had anywhere from 12~16, maybe more, maybe less.

Those who are eligible for auditions include any female between the ages of 13 and 25 (by the application deadline). Apply now for a chance to join SERA00!

Snowboarding pains + pi day!

MARCH POST CHALLENGE #6

Today was day 3 of march break snowboarding at Dagmar. With the recent rise in temperature, I thought the snow conditions would be terrible - or non-existent, at that - but they're actually not that bad. Kind of icy, but snowboardable.

I made a snowman at the top of the hill and successfully brought him down the hill without decapitating him. I got a lot of weird looks though XD

On a side note, it was Pi Day a couple of days ago! I should have posted this earlier but I SWEAR it was from March 14.

Trip to Horseshoe Resort!

Hey everyone!
MARCH POST CHALLENGE #5

Today, SERA00 took a field trip...to Horseshoe Valley! We went cross-country skiing and tubing - at least that was what I did. Some girls chose the other options, including snowshoeing, skating, and geocaching. We weren't given the option of alpine skiing or snowboarding (which sucks) but there are a lot of members who haven't gone skiing/snowboarding before, and I guess Management doesn't want to take the chance that we all get hurt and there's no-one left to perform for you guys XD

Just want to say: cross-country skiing is way more tiring than alpine skiing or snowboarding. I ached for several days after! Also, tubing isn't as bad as I thought. I hate rollercoasters, and Wonderland (I know, shock, right?) so the idea of speeding down a hill on a tube wasn't especially appealing. Even though it still gave me mini g-force heart attacks, it was pretty fun :p

 It's been getting warmer, and there are a lot of puddles on the ground now. While I'm glad my face isn't freezing off every time I step outside, I hope there's still snow during March Break! I'm going snowboarding Monday-Thursday...but I'll be back in time to perform ;) Now, off to do my biology lab.....
