CASUT00 To Sing Theme Song of "Shōjō Premise"

It's been almost two months since Illusionary started working with CASUT00. Four months later they will be training on their own, or maybe even debuting!
There have been a couple of interesting offers and developments. Miss Avery and Angel and the management are still whacking out the details. But from what I've heard, it has something to do with an international version of CASUT00? O_o
Also, we're happy to announce that CASUT00 has been confirmed to sing the theme song for an overseas drama in-production. It probably has something to do with the previous offer. The title has not been confirmed, with the project name "Shōjō Premise". Other than that, the only detail we can confirm is the lead actress, a Taiwanese actress by the name of Huang Yu Yan.
The management is trying hard to increase our overseas popularity. We have one more month of intense vocal training before we start recording the theme song! They want the song in time for the official announcement of the drama to come out.
Oh-well what am I rambling on about before you've even had the most important information... Who the members of CASUT00 are!
I hope you're not in for too much of a big shock if you've read Miss Avery's interviews. CASUT00 is reeling off slightly from the usual "SERA00" type structure. We have accepted sixteen girls into CASUT00, and there will be no second generation unless an idol from the first generation graduates. Unlike SERA00, CASU will not layer generations of girls on top of each other, but will instead act as replacements of sorts as they come and go.
In addition, of the sixteen girls, only twelve will perform as the usual CASUT00, because the other four are selected, trained, and located in Japan. They will be a four-girl group, kind of like a sub-unit, that perform on their own under the name CASU-J. Only occasionally will the entire CASUT00 perform together. So far, only three of the CASU-J members have been confirmed, but they have already snagged the supporting roles in "Shōjō Premise", playing the three girl friends of Huang Yu Yan's leading character. With all these opportunities lined up, CASUT00 is sure to debut with a bang...too bad we won't be with CASU at that point, cuz it would have been really fun, I think.
CASU is a considerably smaller group, but if you think of their system compared to ours, it seems even smaller. SERA00 is broken up into A, B, and C, and the original performing members a song make up the "main cast". Sometimes the performing cast won't be the main cast, like if we perform in teams.
On the other hand, with only twelve/sixteen members, there are no ranks. Although in my opinion, unwritten rankings will probably start showing up once they gain popularity. For example, if you were to strip SERA00 of rankings, both letter and numbers, it would not make much of a difference; the A ranks are obviously more popular.
With CASUT00, we have teams or sub-units of sorts, who will be using a main cast and cover cast system. There will be three units, four including the Japanese unit, but since the two aren't going to have much interaction in reality, I will refer only to the Canadian CASUs. When we release a single, we have the main song, the B-side, C-side, and two team songs based on which version of the single you buy. That's a total of five songs, plus it comes with the DVD with the MVs and collectibles like photos. It's a lot of work, but the fans like it and SERA00 has garnered over a hundred songs this way.
CASUT00 will release more traditional albums with eleven songs on each album, but less frequently, of course. Each unit will get three songs, then there will be a song sung by all three units, and then one song from the latest release of the Japanese unit will be featured. Unlike the SERA00 singles, the different types won't have different songs, just different covers and collectibles.
This is almost like...a report... – _ – is it too long and uninteresting? Next time I'll write about the CASU girls, okay?
Bye bye!

PREVIEW 2013 SERA00 General Election

Omg everyone.  The election. Is. Over. What.
I don't even know where to begin....
I'll get back with the full story, I promise, but for the anxious fans, here's the preview.
The media members basically stayed the same, with some movement though.
Of course, it was tough for many members due to the limited spots in the A and B ranks.
I'm still a C rank, although I'm quite happy with my ranking ;)
Some were not so lucky and we have some frustrated new C ranks. Most members stayed in the same rank or moved one rank up or down, although there are some instances with A/C rank switching.
What happened to the Fabulous Four?
How about Sassan and Luna's battle for first?
Stay tuned! (I know...so cliche...sorry -_-. but actually like don't go anywhere...)

Info: 2013 SERA00 General Elections

Hey everyone! More news on the general election. The tension is starting to build and the election is getting on our nerves...it's less than a week away!
Just a reminder to those who want to vote but haven't yet; you have until coming Saturday, so get those votes in! (for me :D just kidding)
By the way, the rankings have been decided and it's pretty shocking.
There are only 10 A ranks and 20 B ranks this year! Usually there are 16-20 A ranks. This means at least half of last year's A ranks will find themselves in B, and half of the B ranks will become C. It's a pretty depressing thought -__-
Oh well, we're all trying our best here, so you do too!
