CASUT00 Audition Interviews

Hey everyone! Most of you just started school, how was it? Fun? Boring? Wishing it never happened? (sorry, I wrote this paragraph like three weeks ago >.<)
Well this weekend, some girls have much more than just school to worry about... The first round of in-studio CASUT00 auditions are happening this afternoon!
It's actually kinda weird how all those girls look up to me. If I'm considered a "SERA00 expert", what are Maya and Fracken? Goddesses? Anyways, even though I may look experienced in front of the auditionees, it's surprising how unprofessional us C ranks still look against the As. -_-
The first gens are very important, as always. They're the ones who will have to work hard to decide whether CASUT00 will succeed or fail. They're the ones whose work will decide whether CASUT00 will have second gens. So the management really combs through the applications, and Miss Avery and the managers and Angel are there every step of the way.
Five hundred girls arrive on scene; this is greatly reduced from the original number of around 20k by the written applications and preliminary auditions.
There are three parts to the audition. Singing, dancing, and interviews. Once the management passed the rule that you could use "any" song for the audition, the J/C/K-pop started coming in. Many chose the jap songs that Sassan sang as b-sides for her singles.
I'm actually really bored, so let's play a game ;)

THE CASUT00 INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
You are in a room in the Complex with many other applicants waiting to be interviewed, when your name is called. Walking up to the booths, you discover that Angel, an actual idol, is your interviewer, instead of a management staff manager.
"Hi," she greets you. "Sit down and make yourself comfortable."
WHAT DO YOU DO?
1. Sit down and introduce yourself right away
2. Sit down and tell Angel how much you love her
3. Sit down and wait for her to say something
"Great," she smiles. "So your application has been picked out of thousands others and you've already passed the preliminaries."
You nod nervously.
"Now you're able to tour the SERA00 Complex and meet some of the members. I'm sure you've seen some members walking around or in the practice rooms," she continues. "How do you feel right now?"
WHAT DO YOU SAY?
A. "Very good, thank you."
B. "I'm actually feeling quite nervous. After seeing so many other applicants, it's hard to keep up my head up and face the challenges ahead, as I know the chances are slim of getting in."
C. "I'm pretty confident, I think I have this down. I'm a really good singer, and my dancing isn't that bad. Consider me your junior soon!"
Angel rifles through your application papers, and you briefly see your own photo flash by. "I can see you already have some sort of musical background," she comments, "that's always good." She puts down the papers and clasps her hands together, looking at you. "Why...do you want to stand on the stage?" That's slightly unexpected! You were sure she was going to ask why you wanted to be in SERA00.
WHAT IS YOUR REPLY?
1. "I love to entertain others, so to be able to stand on a stage and sing, dance, perform for an audience is a dream come true."
2. "The stage is a sacred place for performers. If I'm able to stand on that stage, I know I've already worked harder than 95% of all budding entertainers."
3. "Because SERA00 has such a loving fanbase, they're sure to love anyone standing on the stage, so it's a quick way to get famous and create a fanbase and to climb the ladder of fame effortlessly."
Angel nods at you. "Thank you very much for trying out and I wish you all the best luck."

-Congratulations! Your interview is over. Follow the instructions below to see whether you would have gotten in.-
WHAT'S THE SCORE?
For every 1 or B, give yourself 3 marks.
For every 2 or A, give yourself 2 marks.
For every 3 or C, give yourself 1 mark.
DID YOU GET IN?
3-4 points
Your application was probably cut after your interview. You should think clearly before answering, and should reflect on the reason you want to join SERA00.
5-6 points
Your answers were borderline. They were average, and many other applicants were on the same level as you. You were probably cut in the second review of applicants, as there is no room for mediocreness.
7-8 points
Your performance was pretty good. But SERA00 wants the best. You'll have to see. If they have room left over you might move on. You are probably part of a waiting list.
9 points
Bravo! Your answers were right on the mark. You're definitely going to be able to move on to the next round. Better start polishing your singing and dancing!
~THANKS FOR PLAYING~

Now that we've gotten past the interview stage, we can actually pick out the girls that exude star presence based on their physical and vocal performance. Yay! The part where the youngest member (me) is made to dance for three hours on end as an example for the auditionees to follow while Maya and Fracken can go around evaluating at their own pace \(-_-\) (/-_-)/.
Please support SERA00! And CASUT00! Wait CASUT00 is non-existent for the time being o_O okay we'll just go with SERA00 ^_^

SERA00 3rd General Election Voting Info & Sassan and Angel's drama ;)

Finally, the details of the SERA00 3rd General Election are out! To be crowned "Centre of SERA00", a member must win two consecutive victories. In some cases, it's not always possible, as you know. For example, there would be no centres for a period of time if no member could score two consecutive wins. In that case, the member with the most wins or the most recent win will be crowned. In Mihashi Sakiko's case, she was crowned as centre in the year before the first election was held. She replaced the centre that was chosen at the beginning of SERA00, as she was deemed to be the favourite for first place. The first centre has long graduated though.
Now, back on topic. Voting opens on September 28th at 12 AM, and closes two weeks later on October 12th at 11:59 PM EST. The voting period is created also in consideration for overseas fans who may need longer to receive their CD singles. All this leads up to the big day, scheduled on Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the TML Stadium. The stadium opens at 4 PM, and the pre-election concert begins at 5 PM. At 7 PM there's a one hour intermission meant as break for the members as well as the audience, and the customary introduction of the members starts at 7:45 PM. The election itself is scheduled to run two hours, from eight until ten.
Alriiiiight enough technicalities...let me spread some inside SERA00 news straight from the complex ;)
Everyone's starting to tense up now that the election is so real. The date's been set and everything, and it's no longer just "an event that happens once a year". It's become "an event that is happening now".
When the preliminary results are in, one week into the voting period, that's when the election pressure really starts to build. I've heard from the seniors that some members have even gotten nervous breakdowns before. Really, this is staking their career on the election.
Us members at the "bottom" -lack of a better word- are actually working harder than what the media makes us to be. Many of us work our butts off just to get mentioned in the election. The 00 ranks know that if they win enough popularity from the fans, their chances of being promoted are higher. But I guess it's quite true that there's more drama and excitement up there.
They say the top is where the battle really begins. The members who will get into A rank for sure know who they are. Now they're fighting by the number. First or second? Second or third? Third or fourth? The gatekeepers of the Fabulous 4: fourth or fifth? The gatekeepers of the media members: eighth or ninth? Up there, every number, every vote counts. Then there are the members who are borderline A/B rank. They're under pressure to stay in A rank, or advance into A rank. But of course, with every member advancing into A rank, there's a member that falls out of it.
They haven't announced how many A, B, and C ranks there will be yet. Sometimes it changes in proportion to the amount of members in SERA00 during election time. It's also another prime time for mass graduations.
Anyways, some of us got to go onto the set of Sassan and Angel's new drama yesterday! The filming has started already but the drama is still keeping a low profile so I can't tell you the title ;) Actually, I doubt many of the SERA00 fans will end up watching it since it is Taiwanese. It's a follow up offer from Sassan's Japanese drama. Angel got pulled into the project, and actually ended up as the lead, as she can speak Chinese fluently. That IQ of hers I guess, that's why she can speak English, French (Canadian yay), Cantonese, Mandarin, Italian, conversational Japanese and Korean. It's actually not that surprising, there are plenty of famous actors/singers who are polyglots.
Once the drama finishes filming here, they're moving locations to Taiwan after the election. You'll be seeing them less, but they'll probably try to fly over at least once a week, especially Angel, now that she's managing two groups. They'll definitely be back for the winter concert though :)
So we were chatting with their male co-stars and found some very interesting pieces of news *wiggles eyebrows* What are your impression of their romantic skills? According to the leads, after getting to know each other, they discovered that it took longer to film Sassan's romantic scenes as she kept needing retakes each time she dodged a scripted kiss. On the other hand, Angel turned out to be much more efficient than Sassan. -_- why am I even sharing this info. Well, you can't blame them; they've been in SERA00 the longest, and have therefore been under the no-dating pressure for the longest. Other than dramas and movies, we're all quite out of practice ;)

SERA00 23rd Single "Hear It From You"

Yayyyy! I know it's been a while since my last post. Even the other members are bugging me like "Eeeeeevieeee what happened to the months when you were on a roll and posted like every day..."
:(
I'm sorry. -__-
Anyways, this marks Evie's miraculous return...with the release of SERA00's 23rd single yesterday, September 23rd, 2013. The song title was actually changed. (actually the whole song was changed...)
This single is a sure fire seller, as you all know. Yes, it is ANNUAL SERA00 ELECTION TIME. With the copies of "Hear It From You", fans will receive one ticket for the online voting system. Also with the special voting single, you get a mini-photobook with every eligible member's portrait as they appear on the voting page.
Featuring SERA00's own Mihashi Sakiko as centre position, here it is!

SERA00 Hear It From You

VERSE
There are so many thoughts about you in my head
I could pick up a pencil and write all day
Letting out all my insecurities
But I wouldn't know where to start

I won't say that I'm always talking about you
But when I do I'm forced to realize something
I couldn't speak as casually to you
As I am speaking about you

BRIDGE
I should have been able to read your thoughts
I didn't notice the tension at the time
I thought I could be close to you like any other friend
But now you suddenly seem so inaccessible

CHORUS
So next time
Please tell me yourself
I want to hear it from you
I'm not as naive as you think
Don't leave me stranded here
(Whatever it is)
I can handle it
Why has it become this way
Not wanting to ask you for help
Afraid to bother you

VERSE
Did I ever tell you how my heart smiled
When you seemed enthusiastic
A word of praise or a warm smile
Was better than any present

Don't know whether or not to stay away
I gloss over our conversations
Yet hoping for more to say
Not wanting something to go wrong

BRIDGE
I should have been able to read your thoughts
I didn't notice the tension at the time
I thought I could be close to you like any other friend
But now you suddenly seem so inaccessible

CHORUS
So next time
Please tell me yourself
I want to hear it from you
I'm not as naive as you think
Don't leave me stranded here
(Whatever it is)
I can handle it
Why has it become this way
Not wanting to ask you for help
Afraid to bother you

TRANSITION
I was already treading carefully
On unfamiliar territory
Now every step will trigger a land mine

CHORUS
So next time
Tell me honestly
If I'm doing something wrong
I'll gather my courage so
Talk to me face to face
(Let me hear it now)
Let's smooth things over
I've been trying my hardest
I don't want misunderstandings
I hope you understand

So next time
Please tell me yourself
I want to hear it from you
I'm not as naive as you think
Don't leave me stranded here
(Whatever it is)
I can handle it
Why has it become this way
Not wanting to ask you for help
Afraid to bother you

Afraid to bother you...
Please tell me yourself...
I want to hear it from you...

Start of School Again :)

EVIE FANS. I apologize. I thought I posted a post some while back but it turns out it didn't happen. How could this happen? *wails*
Anyways, it was just to wish you all luck starting school. Many of you started last week. As for us in SERA00...
I'm in tenth grade now ^_^ yay! Luraland isn't in my class though, I guess being a media member really fills your schedule. Angel, Harley, and Luna have all graduated high school, so congrats to them! Those are the only graduates I can list from the top of my mind. Fracken and River haven't changed their majors (fashion design and graphic design, respectively) so that's all good.
So far, Angel has decided to attend university, so if you haven't been seeing her in Team Angel SERA00 Stage performances, she needs some time to sort out her education, so she apologizes.
Everyone wants to be a good role model and encourage their fans to continue their education, but we realize it's not always possible for us or you, and for a variety of reasons. Harley and Luna haven't chosen a university or college yet.
Some of the members have recently gotten many offers outside of SERA00.
Harley has accepted a role in a movie. Sassan actually has an overseas offer as the female lead of a Japanese drama. She hasn't confirmed yet though, as it would interfere with her senior year of high school. The management isn't saying anything, they want her to make her own decision. Because our frontlining girl is Japanese, we already have some amount of popularity over there, but this drama could boost our overseas popularity tremendously, not just Mihashi Sakiko's. At the same time....school...I knooooow, it gets in the way of everything, doesn't it.

But WORRY NOT, my fellow stressed out students! Just for one month, we have a special section in the SERA00 Stage ticket lottery for students. Half of the tickets of each show will be set aside that can only be won by students. So now when you apply for a ticket, if you're a student, your chance of getting a ticket increases tremendously! So if you have time, come down and see us ;)
