CASUT00 Visit cont'd

The three of us, me, Fracken, and Maya, happened to reach the door of the office at the same time.
"Maya, Evie, any idea what this is about?" Fracken asked.
Maya shook her head at the same time I shrugged. "Probably scheduling?" Maya guessed.
Fracken rapped on the door, and Ms. Tallan opened it. When she saw us, she smiled and threw the door wide open. At least we weren't in trouble!
"Thanks for coming, girls," Ms. Tallan said, heading over to her desk and picking up her laptop. She perched on the edge of her desk, which was currently occupied by Angel, and a manager, Virginia. "I just need to talk to you about Illusionary's schedule," she said, confirming Maya's guess.
"On Sunday there's a music festival in Toronto. They booked a band already, but it called in saying they couldn't perform, so they contacted SERA00 next, and I offered Illusionary."
"Cool," Fracken said. "What are we performing? I think you've noticed that we have about...no songs."
Ms. Tallan nodded, and took a sheaf of papers Angel handed her at that moment. "Miss Avery brought songwriting for Illusionary to the top of her priority list, so we have two done, which will be the ones you're performing. The single is called, surprise surprise, "Illusions", and the b-side is "Sing a Sweet Song". She hasn't finished writing the c-side yet, but two songs is enough to fill your time slot at the festival."
"Wait." I counted twice on my fingers to make sure of my numbers. "Isn't the festival in three days?"
"Yes..."
"We have to learn the song and the dance for two songs by Sunday?" I exclaimed.
"That's correct."
"Three days!"
"The last time I checked, yes, it was three days," Ms. Tallan said dryly.
"But...we usually get two or three weeks notice," I said, aware that Maya wasn't complaining, and Fracken even looked amused.
"Well, we're not sure whether you're going to perform one or two songs. We're still hammering that out with the festival staff. But you should learn both regardless," Ms. Tallan conceded.
(  -_-)   ( ^_^ )
"Right. And don't forget, Maya, your meet and greet on Tuesday," Ms. Tallan said.
Maya frowned. "Wait, Ms. Tallan, I think you double-booked me."
Ms. Tallan's eyes widened. "Oh, shoot, you're right! You have the show recording on Tuesday!" She turned around.
"On it," Virginia said, clicking away at the computer.
Angel scooted her wheeled chair closer to the moniter. "Obviously, she has to go to the meet and greet. It's not meet and greet without the idol."
"So who can fill in for the show..." Virginia muttered, bringing up the schedules of different girls. "Fracken?" Virginia shook her head the same time Fracken did.
"Harley...she's free...oh, not enough time for transportation..."
"Sakiko is busy, Luna is busy, Luraland doesn't do talkshows," Angel murmured.
"Angel, why don't you do it then?" Ms. Tallan suggested. "Take Geneviève and Reece."
Angel looked surprised for a moment, and then said, "Oh, okay," and keyed in the new information. "Waaaaiiiiit...no...actually...no...never mind. Everything's okay." She flashed us a smile as we left the room.
Please support SERA00.
